Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of ICE Network at frostedblocks.com and related Internet Computer canisters operated for that product. They do not govern the separate Lite product at lite.frostedblocks.com unless that product expressly incorporates them.
By creating a username, minting a site, posting content, or otherwise using ICE Network, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use ICE Network. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with parental or guardian consent where required by law. You must have capacity to enter a binding contract.
3. The service
ICE Network provides on-chain social features (for example posts and profiles) and optional personal sites hosted as canisters on the Internet Computer. Features may change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service.
4. Accounts and Internet Identity
Access uses Internet Identity (or other authentication we enable). You are responsible for devices and authenticators you use to control your identity. We do not receive your private keys.
5. Optional personal site hosting fee (10 ICP)
Creating a free username does not mint a personal site. Optionally minting a personal site requires a one-time on-chain hosting fee of 10 ICP at mint (approximately 2.7 ICP for canister cycles and 7.3 ICP for network ops) paid to deploy and host a site canister on the Internet Computer. That fee is a hosting / deploy fee for a site canister. It is not a token sale, equity purchase, investment, or reward balance.
ICE Network does not offer platform “tokens,” token packs, or in-app speculative balances.
6. Optional money features
ICP tips, referrals, and Stripe Connect Store checkout (when enabled) are optional. They do not guarantee earnings. Nothing on ICE Network is investment advice or an offer of securities. Blockchain and payment rails involve risk of loss, fees, delays, and third-party failures.
7. User content (UGC)
You retain ownership of content you post. You grant Walter Wood / Frosted Blocks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate and promote ICE Network.
You must not post illegal content or content that infringes others’ intellectual property or publicity rights. Do not use real celebrity likenesses without rights. See also our internal UGC posting rules for operators.
8. Acceptable use
- No illegal activity, malware, or abuse of the network
- No harassment, fraud, or impersonation
- No scraping or attacking canisters beyond normal use
- No attempting to reintroduce or market removed token packs as part of ICE
9. Third parties
ICE Network depends on third parties including the Internet Computer, Internet Identity, hosting, and (when used) Stripe. Their terms and outages are outside our control.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of canisters or third-party rails.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WALTER WOOD / FROSTED BLOCKS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
12. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, legal risk, or abuse. On-chain public data may remain visible according to canister design.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except where prohibited.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this URL. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
