CARDANO

Cardano Handles & Subhandles

Human-readable names on the Cardano blockchain. Simple, memorable, and powerful.

What are Cardano Handles?

A Cardano Handle is a human-readable name (like $yourname) that points to a Cardano wallet address. Instead of sharing a long wallet address, you can simply share your handle.

Handles are issued through the Cardano Handle Standard and are fully on-chain. They work across many wallets and dApps that support the CIP-25 / CIP-68 standards.

What are Subhandles?

Subhandles are extensions of a main handle. For example, if you own $accord, you can create subhandles like:

  • $wallet@accord
  • $dao@accord
  • $vault@accord

Subhandles are extremely useful for organizations, DAOs, projects, or personal branding. They allow you to create many memorable addresses under one root handle.
